Dear Frankye, I was so glad to see what you look like after our correspondence. What a lovely gentle person you are! Your pain about Todd is so real to me, but I hope that some day it you can turn it around some way, for I am as certain as I can be that Todd would be so sad to know that you don't celebrate holidays anymore because of him. Just before my mom died, she made us promise that we would always celebrate "for her" because she couldn't be here to do it herself, and I always have remembered that and honored that wish. I'm so glad she said that! Big hugs and and warmest wishes from Irene
I am retired, but have a part-time job that that adds much joy to my days. In 2010, I moved to an apartment where I have a whole room to devote to art and creativity. I share my home with a sweet red Doxie, named Ben, a very strange black tabby cat, named Kohl, and a little Senegal parrot. I love art supplies and study art catalogs from cover to cover. It's time to take the next step, put my artsy treasures to use, and share my efforts on this blog. Perhaps my posts will encourage you, give you some things to think about, make you laugh, or nudge you to take the next step in your art.
